Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna has rendered financial assistance of Rs. 90,000 to Karateka Vishwanath Rajput, resident of Rishikesh. He said that the State Government was committed to provide all possible help to sports talents in the state.
Rajput has been selected by All India Karate Federation to represent the country in World Cup Karate Championship scheduled to be held at Busan, Korea, on August 18 and 19. Chief Minister Bahuguna has also extended his best wishes to Rajput for the Championship.
