Finance Minister Dr. Indira Hridayesh, in a review meeting of Commercial Tax Department,


Dehradun, 17 May:
Finance Minister Dr. Indira Hridayesh, in a review meeting of Commercial Tax Department, especially called before the Budget Session, stressed on recovery of cent percent taxes to increase state revenue instead of imposing new taxes on general public.
Dr. Hridayesh directed the officers to expedite process of tax collection and ensure quick disposal of pending cases in the Court. She also asked them to ensure expected performance from the officers and workers deputed in mobile teams. She made it clear that officers and workers working with sincerity in revenue generation would be appreciated and posted in important offices, while, those who would not live upto the expectations would be dealt accordingly. Ensuring resolutions to difficulties projected by them and appropriate action on their suggestions, Dr. Hridayesh said that the hard works done by the officers and workers would not be sidelined.
