Shri Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar, Chief Justice of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh has been transferred to the High Court of Madhya Pradesh as its Chief Justice. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has directed Shri Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar to assume charge of the office of the Chief Justice of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh on or before 27th November, 2013.
