Cooperative Bank Tehri Garhwal donated in Chief Minister Relief Fund

A truck full of relief materials donated by Bharat Mata Mandir, Haridwar, was flagged off to Uttarkashi by Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna from his residence on Friday. Meanwhile, Cooperative Bank Tehri Garhwal donated Rs. 1, 14, 456 in Chief Minister Relief Fund. Prantiya Goswami Mahasabha Samiti also donated Rs. 25,000 in Chief Minister Relief Fund.
 The relief materials donated by Bharat Mata Mandir included packed food, clothes, blankets, torches and other items of daily usage. Mr. Bahuguna said that State Government was not leaving any stone unturned to provide relief to the calamity hit people. He said that Government was trying its best to bring the life to its normal course in disaster hit areas. He said that private organizations and individuals in large numbers were extending help to the affected people. Chief Minister said that more people should come forward to help the calamity hit people in the hour of distress.
Also present on the occasion were Swami Devmitranand, Manishanand, Lalitanand, Brahmamitranand, Nyayamitra Sharma, Indradutt Sharma, Udaynarayan Pandey, Mahant Vinay Saraswat, Vijay Saraswat and other dignitaries.
The cheque on behalf of Prantiya Goswami Mahasabha Samiti was handed over to Chief Minister by Mahamandelshwar of the Samiti Swami Seeta Sharan in the presence of Goswami Madhukant Giri and Arjun Singh Chauhan. Meanwhile, MLA Narendranagar Subodh Uniyal and Administrator Cooperative Bank Tehri Garhwal Rajnikant Surira presented the cheques to Chief Minister.
The delegation of Sevanivrit Rajkiya Pensioners' Sangathan led by its General Secretary PD Gupta called on the Chief Minister and apprised him about their various problems. Chief Minister Bahuguna stating that the State Government was committed towards welfare of workers assured them to redress their problems at the earliest.
