Pawan Hans Mulls Air Connectivity of Neighbouring Cities of NCR

Pawan Hans Helicopter Ltd (PHHL) of India plans to connect the neighbouring cities to the national capital through helicopter services. The Vrindavan and Mathura figure at top of the list of cities to be connected with the capital by helicopter services in keeping with high potential of religious tourism of the twin cities.

A technical team of Pawan Hans has already visited Vrindavan and Mathura on May 25 and 29, 2012 and had discussions on the helipad sites, security, passengers facilitation etc for the above services with the local administration. The PHHL would soon hold discussions with State Government of Uttar Pradesh for the necessary support.

Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Mathura and Agra too are being considered by the PHHL for connecting them with national capital, and survey and feasibility study of these cities are being planned.

With this, PHHL not only intend to provide the seemless air connectivity to Delhi with neighbouring district towns but also aim at saving precious human lives by facilitating carriage of critical patient to multi-speciality hospital in the capital and thereby improve the emergency medical care of people of the region.
