Shri Ajit Singh, the Minister of Civil Aviation informed Rajya Sabha today in a written reply that on line No Objection Certificate (NOC) Application System (NOCAS) has been introduced for obtaining NOC for height clearance. It is a simple and transparent method and is available on Airport Authority of India (AAI) website for public use. On submission of online application, an ID number is generated and on receipt of physical documents, applications are processed and NOC is issued expeditiously.
The Minister further informed that 92 NOC applications were received in AAI out of which 79 have been processed. The remaining 13 applications have been returned due to non-conformity with the requirements.
